I Love My Jaycees

(A Tribute to my Alma Mater)

It’s my pride and joy being a member of this greatest organisation. Yes, I consider JCI as my Alma Mater. Yes it means NURTURING MOTHER. Truly JCI has been a mother to me, during the past six years I spent here. Today what I am, it is because of JCI!

This is my home, this is where I belonged, this is where I blossomed, and this is where I bore an abundant fruit called meaningful and purposeful life. Consequently, this is my holy place, the true temple where my talents emerged, my hidden potential surfaced, my personality is growing, my genius is being staged and my knowledge is deepening.

This is not a mere organisation. It is a place where I really fit in. A place where I have a right to be, a place where I am feeling free, a place where I am being loved, wanted, accepted, appreciated, encouraged to grow more and more, affectionately treated, guided, educated, trained and shaped to be an active citizen of my mother land.

Not only those, given plenty of opportunities to expose myself, experiment, learn a lot and climb the ladder called success.

The five Cs what I have learnt from JCI is COMPETENCE, CHARACTER, CONFIDENCE, COMPASSION and COURAGE to face challenges in my life. These five will always remain the pole stars for my future, guiding my steps, lighting up my path and instilling in me tremendous amount of strength. This is what made me love my Alma Mater!

I was rejected by many organisations for in a job interview, because of my bad communication skills, today, as a Trainer I touch lives of thousands of people in different walks of life and help them to transform, grow and shape themselves, through my effective communication and leadership skills, kudos to my ALMA MATER!

From my Presidential Academy to my National Train the Trainers Seminar trainings, what I have learnt, I am applying in my life and being an example for the young generation today. No Education System in my life taught me those values. Today I am reaching my heights; realising sky is not the limit. My sincere thanks to my Alma Mater!

Here also I have made my lasting friendships, found unforgettable mentors and forged strong relationships. These are my greatest gifts in life.

This is the place where my abilities amplified, my energy expanded, my enthusiasm enlarged, limitations limited, my future is focussed, my work is recognised, my talents are approved. Love you my Alma Mater!

By loving and enjoying joy of Jayceeism, let us unite to impact long lasting peace, harmony and love to our fellow human beings through spirit of Jayceeism. Thank you my Alma Mater, you empowered me to empower others.
